Outdoor Park, Splash Pad
Playground, Restrooms, Splash Pad, Trains

Pioneer Park, Mesa: A park with an elaborate play structure, an historic train, horseshoes, picnic pavilions, a small splash pad, and restrooms.

Age recommendation: All Ages

Hours: Sunrise – 10:00pm

What to expect: This park is modern and has some unique features like the historic train and the giant tree house play structure. But it’s not so big that you have to plan ahead on where to park unless you REALLY don’t like walking.

Just a heads up, the park does attract some individuals experiencing homelessness.

Tips: Because the park is so big with so many tunnels, it can get a little overwhelming with littles running off and into places where they are hard to see. You may want to bring a second pair of adult eyes or get the older children to help watch wandering littles.

The dedicated parking fills up quickly but there is also street parking available. This park also hosts food trucks every Saturday night from 5:30pm – 9pm.
